Marcia E. Wimberly, LLC aka MEW Enterprises is not the first business venture of  Entrepreneur, Marcia Wimberly.  Ms. Wimberly was Chief Operations Officer of Light of Hope Ministries, Inc. a 501(c)3 organization for 11 years.  The faith-based organization was the recipient of Federal, State and City grant funding as a part of the City of Albany's Coalition To End Homelessness, Case Management Services and consultant to other non-profit organizations. The more than 30 years of  professional and personal experience coupled with in excess of 19 years formal education, has been parlayed into a medium to reach out to and assist more people than ever in their pursuit to live the best possible life.

Ms. Wimberly's motivation is derived from the family of educators into which she was fortunate to be born, out of which came some of the most brilliant minds in education.  Both her parents were educators at the primary and secondary levels.  Ms. Wimberly said, "Growing up in a family like this meant hours of reading, writing and dreaming.  I never stopped asking questions even though I was never given the answers; however I could rely on my  parents pointing me in the right direction to find my own answers."

Ms. Wimberly is a single parent of a teenage daughter, they reside in Gainesville, FL, home of The University of Florida Gators.
